Goss DPF Sensors
18/09/2020
The DPF Sensors function is to measure the pressure difference of the exhaust gas before and after the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) or in comparison with the external atmospheric pressure. Another function of the DPF sensor is to monitor the soot loading of a Particulate Filter on a diesel engine.
The filtering of exhaust gas is essential not just for the vehicle, but most importantly, for the environment. By filtering the diesel particulates that your car emits it helps to reduce the black smoke that often comes from the exhaust of older diesel cars or vehicles which have a broken or faulty DPF sensor.
A failing DPF sensor can lead to:
- Loss of power
- Poor fuel economy
- Hard to start or failure to start
- A vehicle going into limp mode
- Poor throttle response
Goss offers an extensive range of DPF sensors to suit many popular makes and models including Audi, BMW, Ford, Holden, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Subaru, Suzuki, Volkswagen and Volvo. Refer to online catalogues for full vehicle details.
Goss DPF sensors are backed by a 12 month warranty, sourced from global OEM suppliers and offer a true genuine alternative.
